About the Role

Join our team as an SEO Specialist and take charge of driving organic growth for both our agency, our clients and stakeholders. This role is an excellent opportunity to apply your technical skills and strategic thinking to enhance website performance, boost online visibility, and achieve measurable results in the ever-evolving digital landscape.


What You Will Do:

SEO Strategy Development: Design and implement tailored SEO strategies for the agency and its stakeholders, focusing on improving search rankings, traffic, and conversions.

Keyword Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify opportunities and optimise content to target high-value search terms.

On-Page Optimisation: Optimise website content, meta tags, headings, images, and internal linking structures to improve search engine rankings and user experience.

Technical SEO: Conduct site audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and SEMrush to identify and resolve technical issues impacting website performance.

Content Strategy & Optimisation: Collaborate with copywriters and content creators to produce SEO-friendly content that aligns with marketing objectives and adheres to best practices.

Local SEO: Optimise Google Business Profiles and other local SEO elements to enhance visibility for location-specific searches.

Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other tools. Use data-driven insights to adjust strategies and demonstrate ROI.

Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and emerging technologies to ensure strategies remain effective and competitive.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including social media, content, and development teams, to integrate SEO efforts seamlessly into broader marketing campaigns.


Requirements

Qualifications:

 

· Proven experience in SEO, with a strong track record of improving organic search performance. 


· Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms. 


· Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles and best practices. 


· Experience conducting keyword research, competitive analysis, and content optimisation. 


· Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or Wix. 


· Ability to perform technical SEO audits and implement necessary fixes or recommendations. 


· Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and present actionable insights. 


· Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and internal teams. 


· Familiarity with local SEO practices and optimising Google Business Profiles. 


· A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail. 


· Willingness to work during Melbourne, Australia hours (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM AEST).
